I went to Tukwila to check out larger tires. I swapped the 18" x 5.5" tire I had for a 20.5" x 8.5" tire. It has a load capacity of 1110 lbs. It's a big fat wide tire, and costs $35 more. Raising the car an extra 4 inches should create just enough room for it. Total cost for raising the ground clearance and re-designing for a larger tire is about $200.
Dogdish has physically progressed from 1-D to 2-D. After lots of careful measurement and cutting, the pie-slice sides have finally begun to get welded together! Can't wait for 3-D pie-slices... coming soon!
