All 3 Drive and Steering Units Installed
Someone seems to have stayed up late and put together all three steering/drive units and installed them on the car!
More work on the railing, too.

Cut out the railings today. Decided to go with 3/4 inch MDF. We needed 13 inch wide board and the widest we could find conventional wood (for a reasonable price) was only 11 inches. Additionally MDF has no knots so it should actually allow for a smoother, cleaner edge when we are done. Also picked up some black paint and boat varnish.
The next step will be to bolt it to the steel rails on the car, then sand it smooth, add a nice edge and paint/varnish it.
kevin and i rocked casbah this weekend and put on the remaining cladding needed for the seatbacks. All that we need now are the seat bottoms.
On sunday we hit the machine shop. I actually did some work on the lathe (it was quite fun). This weekend we'll get the rest of the stationary cladding on and then start tackling the batteries & storage issues.
